Yes, it’s essential to have at least one year of regular yoga practice (1-2 times a week) before joining the training. This ensures you have a foundational understanding of yoga basics and alignment.

Absolutely! In our trainings, we welcome both those who aspire to teach and those who seek personal growth. That being said, you might discover a passion for teaching even if it wasn’t your initial goal.

Yes, your physical presence is mandatory during the training period, which runs from July 29th to August 22nd, 2024. You will receive preparatory materials, online content, and reading materials that do not require your physical presence before the course begins.

The majority of the training will be conducted in-studio during the specified dates. We may offer up to 15 hours of pre-recorded online content that you can access before or during the training to complete your required hours.

Yes, we will assign homework during the training dates. Please allocate sufficient free time during breaks to review the day, complete assignments, integrate your learning, and rest.

The training location is our home-based studio in Lausanne, a friendly and vibrant city, especially in the summer. If you need accommodation during the training, please reach out to us at info@yogaflame. We will do our best to connect you with our community to find a room or link you with other participants for potential Airbnb sharing.

The program fee covers all training content delivered by over 10 teachers, including lead and guest teachers. You will receive a printed manual for note-taking and future reference. Additionally, you will have access to online resources before, during, and after the training to deepen your understanding of the course material. Expenses related to food, accommodation, and extra activities are not included. We may also have some surprises in store for you!

Yes, we provide a printed manual. We will also recommend books for you to read before the training begins, and the cost of these additional books will be your responsibility.

Our goal is to welcome a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 participants. This ensures an intimate and supportive learning environment, allowing you to connect with fellow participants and receive personalized support throughout the training.

We are currently in discussions with our team of teachers and will release the final list of teachers by January 2024. Our instructors primarily come from our studios based in Switzerland, and we may include guest teachers who have previously connected with our community. All our teachers have senior experience, having led their own Teacher Training Courses (TTC) or assisted in TTCs to ensure high-quality expertise during the training.

Yes, upon completing the training, you will receive a certificate that enables you to start teaching public group yoga classes. If you require more details regarding the certification and teaching opportunities, we are happy to provide them.

We plan to offer this foundational 200-hour Teacher Training Course (TTC) annually and may introduce more specialized yoga style trainings in the future, allowing you to further evolve in your chosen path. We will also provide opportunities to mentor a few students through donation-based classes, helping you gain teaching experience and confidence. Additionally, we will host 1-2 post-training Zoom sessions to reconnect, answer questions, share experiences, and support one another.

We value inclusivity and understand that the financial commitment of the training may be challenging. We are open to discussions with interested participants and can explore payment plans or karma opportunities based on the number of participants. In some cases, we may offer karma positions, allowing participants to attend the training at a reduced cost in exchange for assisting with training logistics. Please feel free to reach out to us at info@yogaflame.

Once you have paid the deposit, you have the option to withdraw up to 3 months before the training start date and receive a full refund of your deposit (CHF500). If you withdraw between 3 and 1 month before the training starts, you will forfeit the deposit balance paid in advance. If you withdraw within 1 month of the training start date, the entire investment will be non-refundable. However, if we find another participant to attend the training at the last minute, we will be able to issue a full refund in all cases. Our aim is to ensure we don’t block a space unnecessarily and to have enough committed participants to confirm the course.
